The Belgian Ministry of Defense and The United Nations in Brussels, invite you to a panel discussion on:
“UN peacekeeping operations: overview, current situation and challenges”
On 29 May, the UN will commemorate the International Day of UN Peacekeepers.
With around 120,000 men and women serving in 16 missions, UN peacekeeping operations receive significant attention in the media and among the public.

In light of current events, the panel discussion will tackle questions such as: what is the situation in UN peacekeeping today? How to address challenges pertaining to the protection of civilians as well as the strengthening of partnerships with regional organizations?
