The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) have the pleasure to invite you to the panel discussion "Living in Gaza"on Wednesday 23 March 2011, 13h00 – 14h00
Venue: UNRIC, Residence Palace, 8th Floor
Rue de la Loi 155, 1040 Brussels
(Please use the entrance C2 behind the security booth)
The challenges of living in Gaza are numerous and there has been little improvement in relieving the difficult circumstances that the people of Gaza often find themselves in. The conflict and blockade continue to impact on lives, as seen in widespread levels of food and financial insecurity, health problems and lack of psycho-social well-being. To inform us more on these challenges and their impact on the Gaza population, a delegation of three Palestinian refugee women from Gaza has been invited to Brussels by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation to share with us their experiences of life in Gaza. We hope that you will able to join the discussion and look forward to welcoming you.
