The United Nations Joint Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) Brussels Office and the United Nations Regional Information Centre for Western Europe (UNRIC) have the pleasure to invite you to the presentation of the 2010 Report on the Global AIDS Epidemic.
What: The report features the latest global, regional and country estimates on HIV and new trends in the epidemic’s evolution. In addition to the latest epidemiological data, the 2010 edition includes country-by-country scorecards on key issues facing the AIDS response.
Who: Cate Hankins, Chief Scientific Adviser to UNAIDS, will present the findings of the report with particular attention to the European situation
Michael Hübel, Health and Consumer Directorate and Frederic Goyet, Directorate for Development and Relations with the ACP States, European Commission will comment on the findings of the report and their implications for the role and actions of the European Union in the global response to the AIDS epidemic.
The presentation will be followed by Questions and Answers session and an open discussion on the findings of the report
