18 July 2012 – Former Presidents Martti Ahtisaari and Mary Robinson visited Brussels to meet with high-level EU officials and brief them on The Elders‘ recent visits to Sudan, South Sudan and Ethiopia.
As part of their visit they agreed to talk to us about the recent developments in the relations between Sudan and South Sudan, humanitarian situation and development issues in the region as well as about the importance of the European Union action.
